About Reach for the Stars
Experienced paediatric physiotherapy with a practical, family perspective.
Kerrie is the principal Physiotherapist at Reach for the Stars Therapy Services and has a keen interest in early childhood intervention. She graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and has twenty five years of physiotherapy experience in hospital and community settings in Australia, Ireland and the UK.
After working as a tutor and clinical supervisor with undergraduate physiotherapy students, Kerrie has more than 15 years of experience working in the community disability sector. She is a current member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and has worked with the NDIS scheme since its inception in 2013.
As a mother to three young children, Kerrie understands the importance of integrating therapy into a child’s everyday routine so that it is meaningful for the child and practical for the family.
Therapy is most useful when it fits naturally into everyday routines and supports the goals that matter to the child and family.
